I’m mad as hell (CW mass shooting, talking about anti-queer violence)

I’m angry about an awful lot today, but I think I’m most angry at the people who yesterday were sharing things about how “queer people are grooming children” and promoting the overarching anti-queer movement that has been getting increasingly violent in its rhetoric, and today claim to be sympathetic for the victims of anti-queer violence.

No, sorry, you don’t get to claim sympathy. This is exactly what you were doing. This is the direct, foreseeable and intended result of the things you were saying, the things you were promoting, the cause you worked for. Blood is on your hands. If you truly care, make amends for the people you have hurt.
