New blog! Hello, world!

Hello, world! I figured that I might want to set up a new place to post long-form things, so here’s the new blog space. I’d previously had cohost for that, but since cohost is dying, that seems ill-advised to rely on. As some of you may have more astutely noticed, there’s already posts here. That’s because I went through my old posts and populated this with an archive of things I’d posted previously. Some may not make sense in blog form, some may. Whatever, it’s my own site and I get to say what goes here!

I’m hoping I will get to use this more in the future, but knowing how I am I make no promises. Still, a place to write things about old computers can probably see some use. Indeed, I have a few ideas percolating, but getting this set up into a faintly usable state seemed to take the priority. And of course, I do want to get this a little fancier. At time of writing, if you’re reading this in the future, this site is fairly bare-bones. The main page just has a list of all posts, and that’s about the totality of my blog functionality. It’s enough for now, but I can probably have fancier things in place. But, now I can think about something other than throwing this together with the spoons I have, hooray.
